Meet Macie

As a strength-based clinician, I work from a systemic orientation to creatively and compassionately build non-judgmental relationships in order to collaborate with individuals, couples and families as they walk the path toward hope and healing.

As an AAMFT supervisory candidate, I offer supervision to provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists moving toward full licensure.

Working in the non-profit world for many years, I’ve seen first hand the resiliency of the human spirit in overcoming trauma, tragedy and challenging life circumstances. I value individuals as experts in their own lives, understanding the immense internal resources and ability to navigate toward answers when given a safe space and time to share and be heard with a listening, empathetic partner.

Moving from my non-profit work in community service into mental health therapy was a natural progression. With the support of my amazing, energetic and large blended family, I sought licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. It has been a terrific fit and feels just right. I absolutely believe we are forged by our past and current experiences and every relationship that touches our lives. This is why I chose systemic therapy and am humbled and honored to sit with individuals as they discover their way forward.

I believe my own life experiences with all of its challenges, chaos and beauty, work and training provide me with expertise in walking with folks

relationship challenges including negative patterns of communication and behavior, infidelity and/or separation/divorce/blending families

individuals struggling with past experiences, present events, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions and/or addiction

women feeling lost due to family role changes, disappointment and trauma, working to discover and uncover a future vision and path toward emotional healing and a fresh start

college graduates and young adults seeking their way
